Rapid Re-Housing

The Housing Access Collaborative (HAC) places Boston homeless families directly in permanent housing so that they can avoid a lengthy stay in shelter.

A couple with a set of keys for a house. The Housing Access Collaborative (HAC) transitions homeless families quickly into their own homes. Families enrolled in the Housing Access Collaborative receive a rental subsidy which allows them to focus on saving money and becoming self sufficient. During this time, FamilyAid Boston’s case managers work with families in areas such as employment, education, and financial literacy to develop plans for their long term stability.
