National Homelessness Awareness Month

November is #NationalHomelessnessAwarenessMonth. Please think of the families in our care like Nico, Sierra, and their mom, Jade during this time. Just months ago, their family was stuck sleeping in an emergency room at the hospital. Thanks to our leading partner, Boston Children’s Hospital, the family was referred to us and is now safe and healthy in one of our emergency shelters as we work to place them in permanent housing. Family homelessness is on the rise, but we are the solution, providing homelessness prevention, shelter, housing, and social services to help families return to self-sufficiency.
