Data-Driven

Our decisions are rooted in data and focused on outcomes to ensure success.

What Sets Us Apart

We’re proud to have over 100 years of experience providing dedicated services to families facing or experiencing homelessness. Our staff are more than just qualified experts; they’re a close-knit team, each member fully trained and deeply passionate about helping families in need.

Our work is centered on families—children and parents—experiencing or facing homelessness. If you’re eager to make a difference, FamilyAid is the place for you. Join our team of front-line supporters and top-line strategists and become part of a mission that transforms lives.

Award-Winning Programs & Culture

Our primary goal is to support our families in achieving long-term, intergenerational success. As part of the Aspen Institute’s Ascend Network, our 2Gen programs put the health and well-being of both children and parents at the forefront. This data-backed method works, and our success rates prove it.

We are proud to be listed as a top-rated charity on independent review sites like Charity Navigator and Candid’s Guidestar.

Staff Testimonials

We work as a team and have the common goal of how to better support our families. We are always seeking ways to not only help our own families but to support those of our colleagues.

Prevention Team Member

FamilyAid cares about the clients we serve and the staff. The level of staff appreciation is tremendous from self-care days, to good benefits, and to regular weekly supervision. As a staff person I feel valued and cared about.

Housing Team Member

With a diverse caseload, I am constantly challenged to go above and beyond, even entering into territories I never have before. It gives me the space to have trial and error and recover. Working at FamilyAid encourages me to show up as best as I can for my clients, and never hesitating to reach out to someone for help when needed.

Prevention Team Member

Leadership is never punitive or dismissive when anyone brings up a new (or new to them) idea or question. There is an overall culture of patience, respect and genuine curiosity that encourages conversation.

Housing Team Member

I feel truly appreciated and valued here; my opinion and thoughts are always welcomed. Leadership team members genuinely care about all FamilyAid staff members and are committed to creating a positive, welcoming work environment for everyone.

Administration Team Member

I like that we are still focusing our clients first and are taking steps to integrate diversity training and appreciation into our work and culture.
