FamilyAid Appoints Tracy Welsh as Chief Operating Officer
FamilyAid is proud to announce the appointment of Tracy Welsh as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In her new role at FamilyAid, Welsh will oversee the implementation of the agency’s strategic plan and manage its operations. She will also focus on strengthening the coordination of internal activities and supporting relationships with key government leaders and agencies.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tracy to our team,” said FamilyAid President & CEO Larry Seamans. “Her extensive experience and proven leadership will be invaluable as we advance our mission to reduce family homelessness and expand our impact to thousands of children and parents.”
Previously, Welsh held pivotal roles in some of the nation’s most esteemed poverty, housing and human service agencies, including the HIV Law Project, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, SAGE and JASA.
Welsh holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Juris Doctorate from the City University of New York (CUNY) and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
