FamilyAid Welcomes New Board Leadership to Advance Its Mission
BOSTON, February 4, 2025 — FamilyAid today announced the election of Laura Scott as Chair and Meghan Keaney Anderson as Vice Chair of its Board of Directors. Scott succeeds outgoing Board Chair John Worrall, whose leadership from 2019 to 2024 drove transformative initiatives, including the agency’s strategic, two-generational approach to ending family homelessness.
A long-standing champion of FamilyAid’s mission, Scott has been an active Board member since 2012. Her tenure as Board Chair marks the beginning of a new chapter for the organization as it expands and strengthens its programs for children and parents experiencing homelessness.
Keaney Anderson, who first joined FamilyAid’s Board of Directors in 2022, steps into the role of Vice Chair with a focus on expanding FamilyAid’s philanthropic initiatives.
“FamilyAid is delighted to have two highly regarded community members step into leadership roles,” said FamilyAid President & CEO Larry Seamans. “With their expert and supportive guidance, the agency will continue to provide high-quality, compassionate services to children and parents in crisis as it has over the last century.”
